Badlands National Park Nature Footage

A sampling of footage collected over many years at Badlands National Park in South Dakota, USA.  Most of this footage was collected in HD at the park; however, a few underground shots were collected in studio.  Individual clips can be found at HDNatureFootage.net (contact us if you need help).

Badlands National Park is often considered to be the largest protected Northern Great Plains grasslands ecosystem in the United States.  The park has been instrumental in the restoration of the American plains bison (also known as buffalo), black-tailed prairie dogs, and the still very rare black-footed ferret.  These animals exist against a scenic background of buttes, cliffs, and eroded canyons.  The park is also famous for its rich deposits of mammal and other fossils.
