The Rocky Moutains stretch from northern Alaska all the way down to the southern United States, by some definitions. The footage in this demo is primarily from Colorado; it does not include other North America mountain ranges such as the Cascades (see HDNatureFootage.net for footage from that mountain range). Included in this demo is a wide variety of shots of the Rocky Mountains landscape as well as iconic mountain wildlife such as mountain goats, marmots, pika, ptarmigan, and alpine wildflowers. It also includes species that use the high elevation alpine areas in summer such as the Rocky Mountain elk.
