The American mountain lion goes by many names including cougar, panther, puma, and others. It has a very wide range all the way from Canada on down to southern South America. The video includes clips of mountain lions in forest and desert habitats, in day and at night in infrared, and in winter and other seasons. It includes some footage of wild mountain lions and of some in captivity.
