A sampling of javelina, aka, collared peccary footage collected primarily from Arizona in the American Southwest Sonoran Desert, as well as some clips from southern Texas and Belize. Individual clips can be found at HDNatureFootage.net, as can more HD and 4k footage (contact us if you need help).
The javelina, also known as the collared peccary, is an iconic species of the American Southwest deserts. It primarily spends daylight hours resting in the shade in an effort to avoid the scorching heat, although less so in the cooler winter months.
